COVID-19

Updated COVID guidance is reflective of current public health recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Virginia Department of Health (VDH), and FCHD. This revised guidance outlines that quarantine is no longer routinely recommended for asymptomatic individuals after exposure to COVID-19 infected individuals. In general masks are not required except during isolation. St. Louis staff, students, and school volunteers may continue to utilize masking and distancing for personal risk mitigation. The CDC, VHD, and FCHD recommend individuals who are considered higher risk should consider wearing masks as an additional precaution.

St. Louis follows the CDC developed metrics for COVID-19 in the community. St. Louis will monitor community levels to determine appropriate mitigative strategies in order to reduce the transmission of COVID or other communicable diseases that pose a threat to the health and safety of our school community. COVID-19 by County | CDC
