Special Subjects

The core academic courses at St. Louis Catholic School are enhanced by the additional classes in the fine arts, physical fitness and wellness, technology and world languages. The following classes are available for St. Louis students: 

  • Art (45 minutes per week for all students)
     
  • Library (45 minutes per week for all students)
     
  • Music (60 minutes per week for grades K-5, 45 minutes per week for grades 6-8)

  • Band (optional 30 minute class for grades 4-8 at an additional cost)

  • Physical Education (60 minutes per week for grades K-4, 45 minutes per week for grades 6-8)

  • Spanish (135 minutes per week for grades 7 & 8 Spanish 1; 90 minutes per week for Grade 6; 60 minutes per week for grades 3-5; 30 minutes per week for grades K-2)

  • Technology Class - Students participate in these classes weekly and the amount of time varies based on grade level and Diocesan standard requirements.
