MISSION STATEMENT

St. Louis Catholic School was founded in 1956 to provide quality Catholic education to parish children. The school continues to serve both parishioners and non-parishioners with a Christ centered education that addresses the moral, emotional, physical, spiritual and intellectual development of each child. St. Louis seeks to meet the needs of an ever-changing population, and the cultural and c socio-economic diversity of its families enriches the school.

The faculty and staff of St. Louis School pledge to provide clear spiritual direction and opportunities for service to God and others, leading to ultimate eternal life with our Heavenly Father.

St. Louis school is accredited through the Virginia Catholic Education Association.

REMINDERS

MORNING DROP-OFF: Please do not drop off students before 7:45 am, as there is no adult supervision until this time. Also, it is important that parents are using the carpool drop-off in front of the school appropriately. If a parent wants to walk their child into the school, he or she must use the Faculty parking lot and walk the child to the school doors. If a parent is coming to the school to volunteer, they may park in the main lot and walk across in front of the yellow line with their child after traffic has stopped.

VISITORS AND VOLUNTEERS: Please make sure when you come into the school to volunteer that you are signing in at the front office. All parents, visitors and volunteers must sign-in at the office and wear their badge visibly at all times while visiting the school. This applies both before and during school hours. This helps us to know who is on campus and whether or not someone is on campus who does not belong. The policy is in place to ensure the children in our care remain safe.

CHILD PROTECTION: : If you would like to submit a background check packet, please make sure you have the NEW CPS form prior to seeking notarization. Thank you! Questions or need a notary public? Please contact Miss Dugas at adugas@stlouisschool.org, or 703.768-7732 x13.
